2025-11-17 — AI Resume Fix & Optimization Released

We launched the AI-powered resume correction and optimization features for ResumeDev.

With this update, users can effortlessly enhance their resumes to be more accurate, polished, and professional.

1. Fix Typo & Grammar

The AI analyzes the selected resume and automatically corrects:

  • Spelling mistakes
  • Grammar errors
  • Awkward or unnatural phrasing

All suggested changes are listed in a modal.

You can apply all changes at once using Apply All, or apply them individually using the Apply button next to each item.

2. Adjust Keywords on JD

The AI reads the Job Description (JD) you’ve registered for the resume and:

→ Inserts or adjusts important keywords from the JD in a natural, context-appropriate way.

The UI and workflow mirror the Fix Typo & Grammar feature and can be reviewed from the same modal.

3. Future Plans

AI features are currently free to use.

However, we may introduce usage limits or make them Pro-exclusive features in the future. fix-typo-feature

2025-11-13 — Editor/Preview Resizable Layout Added

We shipped a new update that gives you way more control over your workspace. Because everyone builds resumes differently — some people like to see everything, and some people just want to enter the zone and type like a coding monk.

↔️ Resizable Editor & Preview

We added a draggable resize handler between the editor and the resume preview.

handler This means you can now:

  • Hide the preview entirely when you want 100% focus mode
  • Make the preview huge when you want to obsess over spacing and margins
  • Shrink the editor or expand it massively depending on your workflow
  • Yes — you can even close the sidebar and turn the editor into a nearly fullscreen writing arena (about 90% width)

In short: You control the layout now. Your resume, your rules.

🎯 Why We Added This

We noticed that everyone edits differently. So this update aims to make resume building smoother, more flexible, and easier to focus — whether you're polishing a word or writing a whole new section from scratch.

2025-11-10 — Major UI Refresh Released

We quietly shipped a big UI makeover for ResumeDev — and yes, everything looks way cleaner now.

We redesigned the layout, navigation, spacing, and overall visual flow so more users can say:

“Oh… this is actually really nice to use.”

And hey — if you’re into cooler vibes, we also added Dark Mode. Feel free to switch over whenever you want to look 20% more productive.
